The Brass Band National Competitions were hosted in Hamilton and the band competed. The band had a crash course in marching.

The Chicago Brass Band had a rehearsal session in the bandrooms.

On the 1st of September the band put on a concert in the Cambridge Town Hall for all of their supporters who had made their trip in 2018 to Le Quesnoy possible. Present were Matamata Brass and the Cambridge and Districts Pipe Band.

The band was reunited with Rebecca Nelson who the band accompanied in Le Quesnoy.

Dwayne Bloomfield came up from Christchurch to play and conduct the band as he had in France.

Ella was the band's soloist at the Waikato and Bay of Plenty Regional Competitions.

The Cambridge High School Band and Cambridge Brass combined to give a concert at Karapiro on the Saturday of Armistice in Cambridge.
