It was a busy day for the band. There was a playout in the morning at one of the rest homes in Cambridge followed by an appearance at the playcentre across the carpark from the band rooms late that afternoon.

Some of the band then made a legal dash from the playcentre to Pataruru where a contingent of the band had pre-arranged everything to play to the passing parade.

With the parade over band members made a less hurried trip to Glenshea Park to play to the christmas crowd. The local scout group took pitty on us and gave the band sausages from their stall. The least we could do was to record their activities in photographs.

Having devoured one lot of sausages one of the local band families produced a some what healthier fair. This went the way of the sausages before the band packed up and headed home.

A fun beautiful day.
