Cambridge Brass formed a compact band in a corner of the top step of the Cambridge Town Hall to play for the 2016 Armistice Sunday Commemorations.
As well as representatives of local community groups, local and national government, wreaths were laid by representatives of Australia, Belgium, France, Italy, Turkey, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
Amongst these photographs are two visiting naval officers from the HMAS Darwin. HMAS Darwin was in New Zealand for the 75th anniversary of the Royal New Zealand Navy and was subsequently to take part in the relief efforts at Kaikoura. You should also see a naval cadet having presented a wreathe to be laid at the cenotaph saluting a brigadier.
