LAURISTON PARK CHRISTMAS CAROLS 2016

The day for the band started with playing for the Salvation Army.

In the late afternoon the band played on the lawn in front of the old restored homestead at Lauriston Park. There was a reasonably fresh wind so you will see some members in jackets. The sound carried further than planned, more in one direction than the other but it did not rain.

Having played the band retired to the porch and the barbecue. Some of the younger members ensured that little food was wasted.

Just about ready to start. Where is the tuba?
Band off and playing, tuba included.
Cornets to the left.
That stand is not very vertical.
Chatting between carols.
There is a lot of activity around the barbecue, better finish soon.
Meet the cook.
Guess who got one of the last sausages.
